Michael “Mike†W. Manning, 50, of Barrington, NH, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at his home, following a brief illness.
Born on August 8, 1956 in Boston MA, he was the son of the late Robert & Jean
(Adams) Manning.
He attended Portsmouth High School. Loved to play basketball He was raised in Rye NH, then moved to Texas in 1976 for 9 years, and got married and had a son.
Mike was employed at Boise Cascade. He moved back to Rye N.H. and worked at Wicks Lumber and then for BFI. Following he moved to Barrington N.H.
He loved traveling with his son Josh.
His interests include; basketball, watching sports, fishing, hunting and enjoyed the outdoors.
Members of his family include; his son, Joshua Manning of Barrington N.H. 3 sisters Jean Henderson of New Market, Elaine Cullen & her husband Bill Cullen, and their two children Timothy and Kassandra, and Linda Manning several aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves a dear friend Sue. Mike was predeceased by his brother, Patrick Manning.
A memorial reception will be Saturday, from 12 Noon – 1 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire Chapel, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A memorial service will follow at 1 PM in the chapel.
Mike will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
