Michael “Mike” H. Taylor, age 66, of Concord, NH, slipped away peacefully, surrounded by his most loved family on December 27th, 2024.
Michael was a Concord native and Concord High school graduate, born to Arnold and Patricia Taylor (McCarthy) on August 27th, 1958.
He was raised in a loving family home, the only son with four sisters. Michael will be remembered fondly for his antics and at times difficult nature as the younger brother by his remaining older sisters, Harriet Degreenia of Concord, Karen Nolin of Massachusetts, and Dorothea Goldstein of New York.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Patricia Taylor, his much-loved grandmother, Ruth Taylor, younger sister, Jeanine Taylor, nephew, Tanner Nolin, and infant Granddaughter, Ashylnn Taylor, all of the Concord area.
Michael is survived by his wife, Rose Taylor of Concord and her close-knit family.
Michael is also survived by his three children, Danielle Taylor of Penacook, Jessica McCoy of Loudon, and Michael Taylor II of Salisbury. He leaves behind 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as multiple great-nieces and nephews.
Michael was also a stepfather to Rose’s children, daughter, Brandie Cates and her husband, James, of North Carolina and Richard Ouellette of Hopkinton. Michael had a lot of love for the 6 additional grandchildren they added to his life.
Michael took immense pride in his work as a metal tapper with the company Prototek. He formed lifelong friendships and had many meaningful experiences during his employment. The Taylor family is grateful for the kindness his employer and friends have shown during Mike’s illness and sudden decline. Michael worked for many years previously at Beede Electrical.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, January 12th at 2pm, at Countryside Community Church, 815 Main St, Hopkinton, NH 03229. Reception to follow. His burial will take place at a later date.
