Michael Mongeau, 56, of Hudson, NH, died on Thursday, June 2, 2005, at the Merrimack, NH Community Hospice House, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 27, 1948, and was the son of Edwin Mongeau and the late Anne (Jokus) Mongeau. Michael was a 1970 graduate of Southern NH University. For over 20 years, he worked in the insurance industry and held a variety of sales and management positions as an independent sales agent and was with Equitable Life Assurance Society. Family members include his father of Southbridge, Massachusetts, his beloved wife of 15 years, Patricia (McManamon) Mongeau of Hudson, his daughter, Kayla Anne Mongeau of Hudson, his sister, Michelle Brock of Southbridge, Massachusetts, many nieces and nephews. Other survivors include his father-in-law, Robert J. McManamon and mother-in-law Velma McManamon, both of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, his brother-in-law, Denis Mainville, sister-in-law Colleen mainville of New Hampton, NH, brother-in-law Mark McManamon of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and brother-in-law Michael McManamon of Manchester, NH. SERVICES: A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, June 11, 2005, at 11 o'clock at St. John's Evangelist Church, 27 Library Street, Hudson, NH.
