Michael Moreau

Michael James Moreau of Rollinsford passed away on January 1, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 24, 1960, Mike was an electrician by trade having been in the field since the age of sixteen; starting in the family business. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp, forever and always believing in “Semper Fi”.

Mike enjoyed the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, or sitting on the front porch with an ice cold brew during one of the family’s many over the top barbecues (The man always cooked too much, and you never left empty handed). He was and always will be a bigger than life personality who would do anything for anyone. He loved his family, loved his friends, and loved his country.

Michael was predeceased by his mother, Lucille Moreau. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sonja Moreau of Rollinsford; daughter, Amanda Prunier and her husband James Prunier of Epping; daughter, Melissa Newman and her husband Alexander Newman; their son, his grandson, James Newman of Franklin; his father, Richard Moreau of Kennebunkport, ME; sister, Debbie Roux and her Husband Jim of Northwood and their children, Sherri and Michael; his brother, Richard Moreau of Rochester; and many cousins whom he held dear.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Life will be held at The Holy Grail, 64 Main St., Epping, NH on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 12 to 4PM.
