MICHAEL ANTHONY PESCE
Michael Anthony Pesce of Maine, (formerly Somerville, MA), passed away following an illness on May 31, 2021, at the much too young age of 60. Our beloved Michael was a cherished son and amazing caretaker to his surviving parents, Lena (Picardi) and Angelo Pesce of Maine; formerly of Somerville MA. Loving father to Ashley and Michael, and former husband of Lisa Pesce of Revere, MA. He is the loving brother and best friend of Angela (Pesce) Delorfano and Michael DelOrfano of NH. He is survived by his doting older sister Judi (Pesce) O'Neil and brother-in-law Joseph O'Neil of Winchester, MA. He is the loving brother of William Pesce (deceased), and sister-in-law, Alyssa Pesce of Melrose, MA. He is the proud Uncle of Christina and Michaela O'Neil of Winchester MA, and nephews Anthony Pesce of Malden, MA, and Billy, Taylor, and Brayden Pesce of Melrose, MA. Michael is also survived by many loving family members, including Aunts, Uncles, and cousins in Winchester and Woburn, MA, as well as his previous life partner, Marcia Webb of North Reading, MA, and many lifelong, adoring friends, including Lois Perreti .
Michael was a graduate of Pope John XXIII High School in Everett, MA where he was an outstanding athlete, always flanked by his best friends Paul Woods, Gary Iudice, and Jimmy Hanlon, until the day he passed. Michael is also a veteran, having served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Michael was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and hunter, more at home in the wild or under the stars, than under a roof. His generosity, kindness of heart, and personality were bigger than the sky, always entertaining friends and family with his crazy antics, and wild, irreverent sense of humor. Michael will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by all the lives he so beautifully touched.
A Memorial Mass is being planned at St. Eulalia's Church on 50 Ridge St., Winchester, MA for later time this summer, immediately followed by a "Celebration of Life" evening gathering. Details will be sent to friends and family in the near future. Cards may be sent to the family
