Michael Kevin Richards

Michael K. Richards, 60 of Laconia passed away at Lake's Region General Hospital on August 3, 2015. He was born in Dorchester, MA on July 6, 1955, son of Edward and the late Doris (née Hamel) Richards. Loving and devoted father of Alexander John-Michael Richards and Brooke Emily Richards both of Hooksett, former husband of Brenda Sullivan-Richards, loving son of Edward "Smokey" Richards and his wife Lorraine of Clearwater, FL. Dear brother of Stevie Richards of Manchester, Danny Richards of Manchester, Joseph Richards of Texas, Tommy Richards of Gilmanton, Christine Richards and Cynthia Williams both of Hooksett. Dear and close friend of Dawn Sullivan of Laconia, also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Michael was a graduate of Manchester's Central High School, Class of 1973, after high school he proudly served his Country in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the Ukrainian American Citizen Club in Manchester. He enjoyed taking many tropical island vacations around the world with his family, enjoyed playing darts but above all he enjoyed spending time with his children, especially watching Alex play soccer and watching Brooke's Karate. Alex and Brooke where the love of his life and was a very proud dad of all of their accomplishments.

SERVICES: Family and friends will honor and remember Michael's life by gathering for an burial with U.S. Army Military Honors on Monday, August 10th at 1:00 PM in the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH (Exit 17 off of Route 93). Arrangements by the Cremation Society of New Hampshire.
