Michael "Bubba" Rowe

Michael Rowe (lovingly referred to by friends and family as "Bubba"), 61, passed away August 28, 2016 at the VNA Hospice House in Concord, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 11, 1955 in Berlin, New Hampshire and, with his wife Virginia "Ginny" Rowe (Pearl), had been a resident of Loudon for the past eight years.

Michael was a proud former Marine who remained loyal to that branch of the service throughout his life. Over the course of his life he tried his hand at small business ownership, spending his last few years building up demand for pre-loved household items and curios which he sold at a little shop down the street from his home. But Michael's favorite place was high up in the cab of an 18-wheeler, hauling products around the country and enjoying the open road. It delighted him to have maintained his commercial driver's license to the day he died.

Michael is the son of Archie Rowe (who predeceased him) and Celestine Rowe of Pembroke, NH. He was the loving father to Kristine, Bryan and Ashley and the proud grandfather of Kyle, Trever, Braden, Aria, Kylah, Shayleigh and Sylis. He is also survived by his sisters Jackie Cilley, Colleen McIsaac, Lisa Rowe and Tammy Kimball as well as many nieces and nephews.

Stories of Michael, his sense of humor and quick-wittedness, as well as his propensity for practical joking, will keep his memory alive among family and friends for years to come. Almost until his final hours, Michael continued to tease and joke with all who came to visit him. His passing has left an irreparable hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers we would be very pleased to have donations made to the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House, 240 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301, in memory of Michael.
