Michael Lee Wagner

Michael Lee Wagner, 65, of Lempster, NH passed away peacefully at home on December 19, 2023 after a brief battle with lung cancer with his family by his side.

Michael was born in Chicago, Illinois to Norman Wagner and Helene (Gettings) Wagner who have predeceased him.

Driving tractor trailers was a job that Michael enjoyed and worked for UNFI/Alberts in Chesterfield, NH, BSP in Enfield, NH and many other trucking companies for many years. His favorite recreation to do was riding his orange Yamal Ural motorcycle with his wife, Georgann Wagner, of 17 years seated in the sidecar taking videos and pictures as he drove. Michael loved going off road and checking out where dirt roads and snowmobile trails went in the summertime. Loving the miniature horses that he and Georgann raised for 17 years was one of his many passions. If anyone needed a hand or he could build something for them, Michael was always ready to stop what he was doing or change his plans to aid others.  His contagious laughter was always heard and enjoyed by many.

Besides his wife, Michael leaves behind his two daughters, Elissa Wagner, and her partner Travis Olmstead and their two children Camden and Gracelynn of Brattleboro, VT and his daughter, Andrea Wagner and her partner Devon Carey of Enfield, NH. Two step daughters, Christina Lubin of Manchester, NH, and Kimberly Symonds of Lempster, NH, step son Thomas Adkins and his wife, Jillian Adkins and their two children, Mayah, and Abel.  Michael also leaves behind his half-sister, Sherri Paterson and her husband, Troy Paterson of Blandford, GA and their daughter, Alissa Paterson along with other grandchildren and great grandchildren and many cousins, uncles, and aunts.

Michael requested that there be no funeral services.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.  Michael did request that people donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or online at St. Jude.org.
