Michael Joseph Yeaton

Michael Joseph Yeaton, age 65, of Rochester, NH died on April 2, 2021. Mike was born on April 7th, 1955 in West Point, New York; the son of Leon G. Yeaton and Clare T. (Suing) Yeaton. He was a graduate Dover High School. He managed the housekeeping and laundry departments for over thirty years at various hospitals before changing careers to servicing equipment in some of the best area restaurants. Mike was proud to be an Eagle Scout and spent many years helping in the Daniel Webster Council. Mike spent time teaching range safety, gun safety and shot gun classes at TL Storer Scout Reservation in Barnstead, NH for the Boston Council. Mike proudly served over 25 years as a lead instructor at the scout reservation for semi-annual hunter education for State of New Hampshire Fish & Game.

Mike is survived by his son, Robert Yeaton of Barrington, NH; his daughter, Jessica Yeaton of Hooksett, NH; his ex-wife LiseMarie Descoteaux of Rochester, NH; his mother, Clare Yeaton of Ossipee, NH; his granddaughter, Brianna Yeaton of Farmington, NH; his brothers, William Yeaton and his wife Catherine of Woodland, CA and Brian Yeaton and his wife Deb of Wolfeboro, NH; as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his father, Leon Yeaton.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, April 9th at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Due to current restrictions guests are respectfully requested to wear face coverings and observe social distancing guidelines.
