In Loving Memory of Mikayla Ann Prior

September 19, 1994 – October 20, 2026

Mikayla Ann Prior, 32, was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and most recently resided in Claremont, New Hampshire.

Mikayla was a beautiful soul with a feisty spirit, a heart full of love, and a special appreciation for the simple things in life. Born with numerous health challenges, she faced more than her share of difficulties, but she never lost the spirit that made her uniquely Mikayla. Those who knew her will remember her for the person she was, the love she gave, and the determination with which she lived her life.

Mikayla had a deep love for nature and found peace in the woods and mountains. She loved music and treasured time spent surrounded by family and friends. Her animals were among her greatest joys, especially her beloved Jack Russell Terriers, Moriah, Jackson, and Max, and her cat, Gonzo. They brought her comfort, companionship, and a special kind of unconditional love. She also shared a very close bond with her dear friend Brett, who held a special place in her life.

Mikayla’s faith in Jesus was dear to her heart. That faith brings comfort to those who love her as they say goodbye, trusting in the promise of eternal life and the hope of a heavenly home. After a lifetime of health struggles, we find peace in believing that Mikayla is now resting in the loving arms of Jesus, finally free from pain and the burdens her body carried throughout her life.

Mikayla leaves behind her mother, Diane Beleski; her father, James Prior; her sister, Rhiannon Taylor; her brother, Isaiah Witham; her niece, Natalie; her nephews, Gabriel and Sage; her paternal grandparents; several aunts, an uncle, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Beleski, whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for the time we were given with Mikayla and for the memories that will remain with us forever. Her love for her family, her fondness for animals, her appreciation for nature, and her feisty spirit will never be forgotten.

Mikayla’s earthly journey has ended, but her story does not end here. We take comfort in knowing that she is home with Jesus, where there are no more tears, no more suffering, and no more pain.
