Molly Elaine (Honley) Demeo, Age 71, died April 6, 2023 at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. She was born on September 21, 1951 in San Jose, California, the daughter of Weldon and Katherleen Honley. Molly was the wife of Kenneth Michael Demeo. They were married on December 7, 1978 in Waltham, MA.
After working hard to get her GED, Molly achieved and completed many college courses in fields she enjoyed learning. Molly worked several years for Raytheon Company in the Military/Defense Industry as a NASA Certified Solderer and Electro-Mechanical Assembler of Missiles and Communications. She then transitioned into the Medical Device Industry to become a top-notch Configuration Management Specialist in the Engineering Department.
Every job position that Molly held she aspired to and became the best in tribute to her father saying when you perform something always be the best at it. Most of her time was spent being a wonderful housewife, partner, and supporter to her husband Ken as they traveled throughout the country working many jobs.
Molly enjoyed spending time with her husband and confidante Ken sight-seeing, visiting the ocean and living in a host of different states as they journeyed across the country to Arizona, Tennessee, California, Ohio, Texas, Oregon, North Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, Utah, Massachusetts and settling in New Hampshire.
Over the years, Molly recalled her favorite places as being in the Southwest of Arizona (Tucson) and the Smokey Mountains of Northeast Tennessee, but most of all was a true New Englander at heart. She loved cooking, watching movies, reading all sorts of novels, and listening to music.
Ken and Molly met in July of 1977 in Methuen, MA at the then known “Gilded Cage” night club where Ken played in the house band as a drummer. Molly was the best-looking bar maid in the house. They were a tight couple, married 44 years and being together almost 46 years this coming July.
As almost a 3rd Native American and her grandmother being 100% Cherokee, Molly developed a keen sense for beautiful colors. It stands to reason that she became an avid crocheter making various types of Afghans over the years that were made of all the beautiful colors in the rainbow.
Molly is predeceased by her parents, older brothers Jimmy and Marvin and her younger brother Mitchell whom she loved dearly.
Molly is survived by her spouse Kenneth Michael Demeo, son Richard Edward Chacos and Sister-In-Law Beverly Marie (Demeo) Drago along with Beverly’s three daughters and many grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Mark Honley and sister Linda Lingo.
A private service was held in memory of Molly at her home in Rochester, NH with her husband Ken, son Richard and Pastor Taigen Joos from the Heritage Baptist Church in Dover, NH.
Molly is now in God’s loving arms waiting to be joined by her loving and devoted husband Ken. She will be sorely missed. Those who wish to pay their respects, please feel free to contact Molly’s husband Ken anytime on his cell phone at 385-695-9044.
