Myrtle F. Daisey, age 79, died October 29 at the Grafton County Nursing Home. She was born September 5, 1924 in Wentworth, NH daughter to Leon and Maywood (Edson) Chase. She married Royden H Daisey in 1943 and lived 58 years with him in the same house out by Upper Baker Pond in Orford. She worked her summers at Camp Merriwood in Orford until retirement and then went on to cook for the Orford Senior Citizens. Myrtle loved the outdoors and fishing with her grandchildren. She was a charter member of the Mt. Cube Rod and Gun Club. We are never ready to let go of the ones we Love but life makes that decision for us. We share in the memories of Myrtle and are strengthened by those around us who understand our pain and loss. She will be dearly missed. Myrtle is survived by her husband of 60 years. Four sons Royden and J. Earnest of Orford, NH, Allen of Belmont, NH, Richard of Barrington, NH. and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Edward Chase and a sister Zelpher Porter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Myrtle's name to the Visiting Nurses Alliance of VT and NH Inc., 46 South Main Street, White River Junction , VT 05001. There will be a celebration of Myrtle's life and graveside services November 9 at 2pm at the East Cemetery in Orford, NH.
