Nancy Agnes (Watson) Blake Dutcher Arnold, of Boscawen, was called home on November 18, 2018, surrounded by her family after a long seven-year battle with dementia. Her late parents were Kenneth and Maude Watson.
She grew up in Concord, NH. Nancy was a fun-loving person but very stubborn. She could knit, crochet, and had a talent for cooking. She could make anything out of nothing, her boiled frosting, pineapple cookies were the best. She was an avid bell collector, loved pink glass, and didn't mind a sparkly piece of jewelry either. She also enjoyed playing cribbage and other card games. Her favorite was country music and dancing to it. She spent many Friday's and Saturday's at the Harvard/El Rancho in years past.
Nancy received her GED at Project Second Start. She also received her CNA license doing private duty, later working many years as a house keeper at the NH County Court House.
She was predeceased by a brother, Ken Watson, and a baby, Warren, she lost to SIDS.
She is survived by her children Wayne Blake, Tim Blake, Mark Blake, and Kathy Miller; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bob Watson, David Watson, and Bruce Watson; and three sisters, Ruby Fisher, Donna Smigliani, and Faye Ames.
SERVICES: A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cremation Society of NH, 172 King Street in Boscawen on Saturday, December 1st, with a gathering from 10:30-11:30am, followed by a brief service at 11:30am.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Merrimack County Nursing Home, 325 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303. Many thanks to the wonderful staff and the amazing hard working aides.
