Nancy Rich Kestner, 67, of Warner died November 10, 2002 at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen after a long illness. Mrs. Kestner was born on November 3, 1935 in Nashua, NH the daughter of the late Charles and Mona (Conner) Rich. She graduated from Cornell University in 1957 where she studied to be a dietitian. She was a member of ADA and consulted in various nursing homes across the state. Mrs. Kestner taught traditional rug hooking and enjoyed oil painting. She was an overseer of the poor in Warner for many years. Family members include; her husband of 43 years, Paul J. Kestner; three sons, David Kestner of Farmington, Stephen Kestner of Newport and William Kestner of Rochester; two sisters, Marion Prim of Hinesburg, Vermont and Sally Holt of Vero Beach, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 16th at 3:00 PM at the United Church of Warner on Main Street. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Merrimack County Nursing Home, Edna McKenna Fund, 325 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303 or to the charity of one's choice.
