Nancy Patricia (Pearson) Davis departed for her heavenly home on September 28, 2025. Born in Peterborough, NH on March 17, 1928, she grew up in Manchester and graduated from West High School, Class of 1945. As an adult, Nancy lived a full life marked by resilience, independence, and service to others. Raising her 6 children in Windsor, VT she truly loved her family and community and they truly loved her. She promoted both at every opportunity.
Nancy was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Church where she served as a greeter and worked in the food bank. She volunteered for many organizations including the Windsor Public Library, the Community Food Shelf, Mt. Ascutney Hospital, Compassionate Friends, and the Old South Church rummage sale. She enjoyed attending the Windsor Community Dinners.
She was passionate about her profession as a librarian at the Windsor Public Library and as the Children’s Librarian at State Street School. She completed her career in education as receptionist at Windsor High School. In addition, she enjoyed working at The Flower Kart and Vermont State Craft Center in Windsor.
Nancy loved reading, music, flowers, art, and travel, but her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Edith (Hould) Pearson, sister Jean Mijal, infant daughter Alice, son Paul, and grandson Paul Kelson. She is survived by her 5 children: Kathleen (Thomas) Mancini, Keith (Joy) Davis, Karen Johnson, Kristen (Dan) Hagler, Peter (Kim) Davis, her siblings Carl (Cil) Pearson, Karen Goodwill, David (Amelia) Pearson, Susan Soule, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
