Nancy P. Poirier

Nancy P. (Brennan) Poirier, 84, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Hanover Hill Health Care Center. She was born Mar. 7,1937 in Somersworth, NH and was predeceased by her parents, Violet E. Bisson and Steven Brennan, sister Shirley J. Exley and brother Steven Brennan.
Nancy was born and raised and lived her life in the Manchester area. She attended local schools and raised her five children in Manchester. She worked for many years at the Elliot Hospital until her retirement.
Nancy is survived by her five children, Robin S. Poirier of Manchester, Robert M. Poirier and wife Elizabeth of Bedford, Karen L. George of Manchester, Michael P. Poirier of Fontana, CA and Laurie D. Savoie and husband Ghislain of Manchester.
Nancy was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She loved animals, was an avid Red Sox and N.E. Patriots fan and enjoyed watching movies.
Her family is forever grateful to the staff at Hanover Hill for the care and compassion shown to Nancy over her residency.
Due to COVID the family has asked that only immediate family members and close friends of the family attend services.
