Nancy G. Stantial

Nancy (Geer) Stantial, 80, of Deerfield NH, passed away after a period of declining health on September 22nd, 2021 at home with her loving husband by her side. Born on December 15, 1940 to the late Russell & Evelyn (Klaubert) Geer, she would go on to marry her best friend Ralph “Brooks” Stantial, with whom she shared 62 years of loving marriage.

Nancy was born and raised in Manchester and would remain a resident of New Hampshire for her entire life where she could be close to her family and community that she loved so much. For over 40 years she worked as a bookkeeper for Met-L-Fab Inc. She worked primarily so that she could support her family. Nancy’s children and grandchildren were her life’s priority.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Nancy will remember a caring, loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother and friend. During her younger years she loved to bowl and was in a bowling league for many years. She also enjoyed knitting, as she leaves behind many pieces for her family, and she especially loved going to the beach at any opportunity that she could. Above all else, Nancy loved her family immensely, and will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Nancy has joined her parents Russell & Evelyn Geer and her son-in-law Patrick Gillick in heaven. She is survived by her husband Ralph “Brooks” Stantial; daughter Tracy Gillick; son Scott Stantial and his wife Natali; five granddaughters Lyndsay Stenbeck, Caroline DiGeambeardino, Jennifer Stantial, Victoria Stantial & Monica Stantial; sister Shirley Magnuson; her beloved dog Kiera; as well as 1 nephew, 3 nieces and many extended family members and friends.

Nancy will be laid to rest on Wednesday, September 29th at 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester, NH.
