Natalie May (Monroe) Webster, 80, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Clipper Harbor Rehab in Portsmouth, NH

Natalie was born in Canaan, NH on December 16, 1935 to Sidney R. and Edna (Coutermarsh) Monroe. She was a graduate of Canaan High School and earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of New Hampshire. She married Richard Leeds Webster on August 4, 1956 and together they raised four wonderful children. She worked at Canaan Head Start for many years, as well as Plymouth Head Start, and finished out her career in early childhood education at Plymouth University Child Care Center. Natalie was a faithful parishioner of Upper Valley Church of Christ in Quechee, VT. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and gardening and she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Natalie is survived by her children, Wayne (Karen) Webster of Campton, NH, Terry Webster of Canaan, NH, Keith (Elizabeth) Webster of Hampton Falls, NH and Pamela Webster of West Lebanon, NH; her siblings, Eva DeCato of Canaan, NH, Robert (Pete) Monroe of Canaan, NH and Nancy LaCasse of Lempster, NH; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard in 2008, as well as her sisters, Phyllis Barrows and Gloria George.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 5th at Upper Valley Church of Christ, 4330 Woodstock Road, Quechee, VT, 05059. Memorial contributions may be made to Upper Valley Church of Christ, P.O. Box 262, Quechee, VT 05059. The Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
