Nathan ''Nasty Nate'' L. Coffin, 59, of 609 West Road, Clarksville, NH died on September 3, 2001 at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook. Mr. Coffin was born on November 6, 1941 in Norway, Maine the son of the late Gerald and Carrie (Willis) Coffin. From the 1960's to the 1970's he worked as a Senior Engineer promoted to Product Manager for Northeast Electronics in Concord. He then opened Tele-Craft Inc. in Northwood which he operated until the 1980's. For the past decade he had been working for the Coos County Nursing Home as a computer systems administrator. He was an outstanding guitarist, and had a love for music. He loved racing, and was an avid Jeff Gordon fan. He was a fireman and EMT for the Northwood Fire Department and Rescue. He served as Cubmaster Pack 312, Webelos Den Leader, Saddleback Mountain Lion's Club, Border Lion's Club in Canaan, VT, White Mountain Lodge No. 86 in Whitefield, NH and Wayne's Lanes Bowling League. Family members include; his wife of 41 years, Edna (Fortin) Coffin; one son, Dwayne Coffin of Uxbridge, MA; four grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Coffin of Colebrook; two sisters, Miriam Dupont of Jefferson and Nancy Olson of Somersworth; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by another brother Gerald Coffin of Rochester. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all. We love you Grandpa.
