Nick Boca

Nick Boca, 54, of Manchester, NH, after having a heart attack, passed away on June 4, 2023 with family at his side.

Nick was born on December 4, 1968 in Romania. After graduating with degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, he started working at Newland Computers in Ploiesti, Romania. Nick later moved to the United States where his dream came true and he became a proud Citizen of the United States of America on July 30, 2021. Nick worked as a Information Technology Systems Analyst for NextComputing in Nashua, NH until his passing.

Nick loved to build! He built gaming computers and pinball machines. He loved technology and order. He was first to fix what’s broken and create Do-It-Yourself solutions. His hobbies included - fishing, travel, movies (especially Star Wars, Marvel and DCU), and he loved video gaming. He was thrilled when snow was deep and Thanksgiving and Christmas were his favorite holidays. He loved dogs! Especially Pokey, Heidi and Oscar.

Nick was fortunate to have family and friends in both Romania and the United States.  Here are a few of many:  Matthew Newland, Heather Clough, Peter Newland and David Newland of Concord, NH; Bradley Newland, Kristen Newland, Joshua Newland and Jonathan Newland of Salem MA; Dan Perkins of Manchester, NH; David Addario of Hooksett, NH;  All the Newland’s of Vermont;  Ioan and Lucia ILioiu of Plopu, Romania;  Iulian iLioiu of Popesti Leordeni, Romania; and Florin of the United Kingdom.

In accordance with Nick’s wishes there will be a cemetery gathering for family and friends Friday, June 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Penacook Calvary Cemetery, Village St., Penacook, NH 03303.
