Nina Ray Reed

Nina Ray Reed of Manchester passed away on November 17th, 10 days shy of her 77th birthday, after a period of declining health. She was the daughter of Ray Mason and Irene Ralph (Almeida). Nina was born and raised in Rhode Island. As a young girl, she was a member of a USO troupe. Along with her sidekick, Rusty Mulligan, she appeared at nearby military establishments, variety shows, and other local celebrations, as a ventriloquist duo. She attended E. Providence High School. Her lifetime careers included dental assistant, bar owner, bartender, waitress, and owner of a sport memorabilia business. Nina enjoyed reading and going to the movie theater.

Survivors include her daughter Robin Morrell and her husband Glenn of Weare, son Robert Reed of Maine, grandchildren Jason Morrell and his wife Andrea, Dana Morrell and her fiancé Connor Western, Lea Frinzell, Lindsey St.Laurent, MacKenzie Reed, Robbie Reed, great grandchildren Jocelyn, Eliza, and Natalie, and many sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
