Norman H. LaFlamme

Norman H. LaFlamme, 68, of Amherst, NH, died February 18, 2006, at a local hospital. Mr. LaFlamme was born on June 18, 1937, in Lowell, MA, the son of the late Harry and Ella (Chandler) LaFlamme. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrical foreman for 30 years, at New England Power Service Company, in Westborough, MA. He served in the US Navy. during the VietNam Era. Mr. LaFlamme enjoyed woodworking. Family members include his wife of 43 years, Frances (Powell) LaFlamme of Amherst, NH; 1 son, Stephen LaFlamme, of Merrimack, NH; 2 daughters, Denise Pomerleau, of Kennebunk, ME; and Bonnie LaFlamme, of Amherst, NH; seven grandchildren, one great grandson, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. LaFlamme was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. There are no calling hours. A memorial reception will be Thursday, February 23, from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M. at The Bedford Arrangement Center, 172 Rt. 101, Bedford, NH, followed by a service at 8:00 P.M. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mr. LaFlamme.
