Patricia Ann Abjornson

Patricia “Patty” Ann (Hargreaves) Abjornson, 61, died peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Patty was born on May 24, 1960 in Cranston, Rhode Island, the daughter of William and Lillian Hargreaves. She spent the first 24 years of her life in Rhode Island before moving to Thornton, New Hampshire in 1984 with former spouse Michael Abjornson prior to starting a family. Her three children, Megan, Michael, and Jennifer were her pride and joy. She loved her children and spending time with them was her greatest joy. Patty was described as a loving, strong, compassionate woman with a great sense of humor; she always put her family first. She enjoyed daily walks, camping, trips to the ocean, cookouts and spending time with family and friends, as well as her beloved cat, Newey.

Patty is survived by her daughter Megan Abjornson of Florence, SC; son Michael Abjornson, daughter-in-law Kate Abjornson and granddaughter Paige Abjornson of Winter Garden, FL; daughter Jennifer Abjornson and fiancé Ernest Tabiri of Hooksett, NH; sister Joan Spreyer of Rehoboth, MA; brother William Hargreaves and sister-in-law Diane Hargreaves of North Smithfield, RI; sister Linda Cline and brother-in-law Rob Cline of Lewisburg, PA; brother Tom Hargreaves of East Providence, RI; sister Barbara Spencer of Worcester, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews. Patty is predeceased by her parents William and Lillian Hargreaves, grandson Zachary Sousa, brother David Hargreaves, and brother-in-law Bill Spreyer.
