With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Balboni, a beloved mother, devoted wife, and cherished Nana, who left us unexpectedly on December 3, 2024, at Concord Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Richard Balboni Sr. for 57 years, with their long and beautiful journey as husband and wife beginning on August 5, 1957. Patricia was predeceased by her sister Nancy Bock and her parents William and Dorothy Rizzo. Born on December 31, 1944, in Revere, Massachusetts, Patricia's journey in life was marked by her boundless kindness and warmth, traits that deeply touched everyone she encountered.
Patricia's educational journey began at Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, Massachusetts, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with learning and growth. Her vibrant spirit, creativity, and unwavering commitment to her family will be profoundly missed.
Patricia dedicated herself passionately to her career in real estate before gracefully transitioning into the role she cherished most: being a loving homemaker to her husband and their four children. In her home, she cultivated an atmosphere filled with love and laughter, where memories were made over games of cards and board games. She had a remarkable talent for bringing family together, often centering her gatherings around delicious meals that bore the unmistakable mark of her culinary artistry.
Among her many cherished memories, baking was a particular joy for Patricia. Every holiday season, her famous stuffed peppers became a much-anticipated tradition, bringing warmth and comfort to her family. Her garden, which bloomed with meticulously tended roses, reflected her gentle nature and passion for nurturing life, further enhancing the beauty of her home. She found peace and joy in gardening, taking time to admire the flowers she lovingly tended. Patricia was a woman of many interests; she delighted in creative pursuits and was often seen browsing craft fairs, looking for new ways to infuse beauty into her surroundings. An avid reader, Patricia had a particular fondness for James Patterson’s novels, finding solace in the pages of books that she held so dear.
Patricia is survived by her husband Richard Balboni Sr., her daughters Melissa Carpenter, Holly Carle, son-in law Michael Carle, daughter Leigh Dobe, son Richard Balboni Jr. and daughter in-law Trysha Balboni. Her grandchildren include; Allison Goodsell, Danielle Larango, Kimberly Kelley, McKenzie Carle, Jessica Carle, Christina Dobe, Andrew, Nick, and Jayden. Great-grandchildren; Damien, CJ, Amiya, Elaina, Bryson, and Kennedy. Her brother William Rizzo, sister Dorothy Wilder and brother in-law Ed Wilder.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on December 13, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM, both at Phaneuf Funeral Home located at 243 Hanover Street in Manchester, NH.
While we mourn her passing we take comfort knowing her legacy lives on through her children, grand-children and great-grandchildren. We will be forever grateful for the unconditional love she gave us. Her kindness and warmth touched everyone she met. Losing her so suddenly has left us all devastated. Not having her around and the pain of her unexpected passing is still raw. Even in such grief we can strive to find comfort in all the wonderful memories we shared over the years.
Though Patricia may have departed from this world, her unconditional love and the indelible marks she left on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her will remain forever cherished.
