Patricia A. (Waniski) Elliott, 56 of 10 Andrew Street, died September 6, 2002 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, following a long illness. Pat was born in Hartford, CT on June 23, 1946, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Gillette) Waniski. While in CT, she attended New Park Avenue and Mary Hooker Schools. She was a graduate of Westford Academy in Westford, MA. She was currently taking graduate courses at Southern NH University. She was predeceased by her oldest son, George ''Buddy'' Woodward. Family members include her loving companion of many years, Mike Lavigne of Manchester; two sons, Scott Woodward and Edward ''Les'' Woodward both of Manchester; a grandson, Brian Woodward of Manchester; a sister, Betty Carpenteri of Milo, ME; four brothers, Lee Curnow of Naples, FL, Al Curnow of Kingstown, RI, Ben Waniski, Sr., of Allenstown and Gerald MacDonald of Hillsboro; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St, on Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 PM. A memorial service will follow in the Cremation Society chapel at 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Natocook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054.
