Patricia Wray (Gilchrist) McFadden Taylor, 71, passed Saturday, February 2, 2019 at home in Loudon, NH after a 10-month fight with cancer. She was surrounded by her close family and friends and Hospice.
She was born on August 30, 1947 in Winchester, MA, daughter of Ross S. Gilchrist and Virginia A. Rohrman.
She is survived by her loving, husband of 29 years, Donald E. Taylor; her three children, Stephanie (McFadden) Hatfield, Jeffrey McFadden and Audrey McFadden; stepson, Donald Taylor, Jr.; four grandchildren, Bradley and Alexander Hatfield, Justice and Devan McFadden; two brothers, Steve and Rich Gilchrist; half-brother Charles MacNeil; nieces and nephews.
Patricia graduated in 1965 from Littleton, NH High School. She worked in customer service for the State of NH IT Department and retired after 32 years along with her career at Steeplegate Mall as customer service rep for several years. She also worked part time in the State's Board of Medicine offices.
Patricia loved traveling with her husband and had many friends in Scotland. Her laughter was contagious, loved helping others and making new friends. She loved going on motorcycle rides with her husband and loved the ocean and beaches. Her cherished moments were those shared with her family, surrounded by pets, cooking in her kitchen and being with close friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 21 Centre St, Concord, NH on February 16, 2019 at 2:00P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Patricia's memory to the Payson Center for Cancer Care, 250 Pleasant St, Concord, NH 03301.
