Patricia “Pat” Mary (Martell) Watt, 70, died June 16th, 2024, at her home in Pittsfield, NH, with her husband and members of her immediate family.
She was born September 17th, 1953, in Manchester, NH, to the late William E. and Patricia M. (Tully) Martell.
Patricia was the wife of John Watt. They were married in a small ceremony in Manchester, NH.
Patricia graduated from Central High School, Manchester, NH, in 1972. Following high school, she earned her license in cosmetology. She practiced briefly, before starting a family. When she returned to work, she opted for the field of education, specifically, special education. Patricia loved working with students and saw the potential and value in every student.
As a mother, Patricia enjoyed attending her daughter’s games, and would step into the role of coaching, when needed. That enjoyment continued when her grandchildren began sports as youngsters. Patricia also loved camping and fishing, especially in the White Mountains. Most importantly, Patricia loved her family, her husband, daughters, grandchildren, siblings and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased in death by daughters Kimberley Ann (Anderson) Carmichael, and Tiffiny Elizabeth Anderson-Desmarais, both of Manchester, NH, along with siblings, James F. Martell of Sacramento, California, William J. Martell of Rochester, NH, Jonathan Martell of Henniker, NH, and Joanne A. Felch, of Manchester, NH.
Patricia was survived by spouse, John Watt of Pittsfield, NH, daughter Sue-Ellen K. (Anderson) Fischer, and grandchildren Morgan and Aurora Carmichael, all of Manchester, NH. Additionally, she was survived by siblings, Alan D. Martell of Alfred, ME, Margaret S. Murphy, and Sue-Ellen G. McGuire, both of Manchester, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A gathering will be held at 9:00AM, followed by a service at 10:00AM, Monday, July 8th, 2024, at Phaneuf Funeral Home, Manchester NH. Interment will follow at 11:00AM at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bedford, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Boscawen.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Hampshire Special Olympics.
