Paul Andrew
Robbins
February 16, 1949 – April 4, 2026
Paul A. Robbins, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away April 4th, 2026, at his home in Swanzey, New Hampshire, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 16, 1949, in Springfield, Massachusetts, and lived a life marked by devotion to his family, his country, and his community.
As a young man, Paul answered the call of duty and served as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War. His service to his country shaped his character and instilled in him a quiet strength and resilience that he carried throughout the rest of his life. Those who knew him understood that beneath his humor and easygoing nature was a man of deep conviction and unwavering loyalty.
Paul was a true outdoorsman who found peace and joy in the natural world. He was an avid hunter who cherished time spent in the woods and fields of New England. He also pursued a passion for metal detecting and coin collecting, hobbies that reflected his patience, curiosity, and appreciation for history. Above all else, Paul treasured the time he spent with his family and friends, who knew him as a kindhearted man with a tender spirit and the remarkable ability to make those around him laugh.
Paul was an active member of his church community, where his faith served as the foundation of his life. He served as a member of Love Thy Neighbor for the Village Church Ministries. A devout Christian, he drew strength and comfort from his relationship with the Lord, and that faith sustained him through his final days. His family takes solace in knowing that Paul now rests in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father, free from suffering and at eternal peace.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne Robbins of Swanzey, New Hampshire, his daughters, Jenny, Kate, Jennifer and Kristen, sons Dan, Garrett, Rich, and Nick. Additionally, his 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service will be planned in the future. Details will be shared with family and friends as arrangements are finalized. The family encourages those who wish to honor Paul's memory to spend time with loved ones, as he would have wanted nothing more.
