Paul Blais

Paul Ovide Blais, 82, died Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was born on March 29, 1942, in Nashua, NH. He was the son of the late Julien and Yvonne (Levesque) Blais.

He was the husband of Judith (Rafuse) Blais. They were married on April 2, 1965 in Nashua, NH. They recently celebrated their “60th” anniversary with family and friends.

As a child, Paul attended the Nashua School District. He was a mechanic by trade. He also was a bus driver and truck operator. In his retirement years, he was employed by Branch Brook Campground, where he spent his summers with his wife and family.

Paul also enjoyed creating whirligigs, bird houses and garden decorations in his workshop. He was an avid card player and gardener. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.  

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Judith Blais; his daughter, Pamela Naro and her husband Kevin of Nashua, NH; his son, Kevin Blais Sr. and his wife Christine of Nashua; six grandchildren, Felicia Bibbo and her husband Anthony, Kevin Blais Jr. and his wife Kim, Monika Sullivan and her husband Tim, Trevor Naro and his fiancée Kelsea Goodrow, Samantha Blais and her fiancé James DiGiovanni and Joey Blais. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and many more that called him Papa, in addition to many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Judy and Paul’s wish was that we not mourn their passing, but celebrate their life. Please join us for an open house filled with stories, memories, love and laughter which will be taking place on July 21, 2024 at the Alpine Grove Events Centre from 12PM-4PM. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Paul’s name to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054.
