Paul R. Gagne, 85, of Colebrook died January 7, 2006 at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Gagne was born on August 12, 1920 in Nashua the son of George and Anna (LaRose) Gagne. He was a US Army veteran who served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. After returning home, Paul began working for the Nashua Corporation where he spent 35 years. He was a member of the American Legion of Canaan, Vermont and the VFW in Nashua. Mr. Gagne enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout New Hampshire and Maine. He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude (Cepulinski) Gagne in 1998. Family members include; three sons, Michael Gagne and his wife, Andrea of Greenville, Richard Gagne and his wife, Terry of Gilmanton and Gary Gagne and his wife, Michele of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; a step-son, Edward Rupp and his wife, Patti of Gilmanton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Rita Cantin of Sanford, Maine; his companion of 7 years, Claudia Dustin of Colebrook; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Annette (LaFrance) Gagne of Nashua. There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, January 12th at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church on West Hollis in Nashua with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley Street in Nashua.
