Paul R. Guillemette passed away peacefully at home in Goffstown, NH after a period of failing health on November 16, 2022, at the age of 67. He was the first born to Marcel and the late Anita (Desrochers) Guillemette. Paul was born in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Goffstown, New Hampshire at a young age.
He graduated from Goffstown High School and built a career working with his hands. Paul had a gifted mechanical mind and his dedication to work made him an invaluable asset to his employers. He worked for Rose Steel Inc. as a steel fabricator.
Paul married his wife, Dicksie in 1987 and they spent 35 years together, dedicated to building a strong family and home.
While often quiet and reserved, his heart was full and caring. Paul loved nothing more than sharing activities and interests with his family. He coached his sons little league team for several seasons, explored the craft of woodworking with his father, shared a love of baseball with his mother, and introduced his daughter to the world of racing. He also enjoyed ice fishing and the occasional game of golf. It was always important that he provided for and supported his family the best he could.
Paul was predeceased by his mother, Anita; sister, Irene; and brother-in-law, Dean. He is survived by his wife, Dicksie; their children, Brittany and Andrew; his father, Marcel; stepmother, Rita; sister, Elaine Mitchell and her husband, Jim; sister, Bertha Rush and her husband, Mike; brother, Mike Guillemette and his wife, Trisha; brother-in-law, Dan Beaulieu; brother-in-law, Brian Chapman and his wife, Kathy; brother-in-law, Chad; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His body may have failed but his spirit was stubbornly strong.
The family will have a private gathering in remembrance of Paul.
