Paul Dennis Keller of Windham died Monday Oct 10, 2005 in Concord, New Hampshire after a two year struggle with cancer. He was born July 27th 1940 in Maspeth, NY. He is survived by his mother Martha, wife Wendy, sons Gregory and Andrew, sister Daria Feinstein, brother Ralph, and five grandchildren Theodore, Elizabeth, Melissa, Caroline, and Alison. He grew up in Oneida, New York, graduated from St. Lawrence University with Bachelors of Arts in 1960 and received his Masters of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1976. He had a 26 year military career of service to the nation as an Army Officer. He initially served with the1st Special Forces Group, and the 1st of the 9th Air Cavalry Division with service in Okinawa, Taiwan, and Viet Nam from 1964 to 1966 and returned again in 1968-69 as a helicopter pilot. While serving in Germany from 1969 to 72, he commanded the Air Troop for the 2nd Air Cavalry Regiment. He also served in the 117th Assault Helicopter Company in South Korea from 1972 to 1973. He is the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves. After the military, he and Wendy, his wife of 44 years, moved to New Hampshire and considered it their home. He retired from Lucent Technology in 2003 where he was Vice-President of Enterprise Resource Planning. He also worked for SAP America where he was the Director of Global Accounts and at Wang Labs where he was a Senior Manager. An avid sailor, he served on the Board of Governors of the Blue Water Sailing Club and was a member of Naval Yacht Club of Portsmouth, NH. He volunteered in local government with the Town of Windham, and was elected to public office as a Trustee of the Nesmith Library. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 15 Oct at 1 pm at the First Parish Church 47 East Derry Road, East Derry New Hampshire.
