Paul Phillip Oshman “Lovebug” was born on June 19, 1985. Paul, 38 years old, made his final journey on this earth on September 1, 2023. His journey was marked with strength, love and a spirit that inspired all those he knew and loved. He now rests in the arms of our Lord, Jesus.
To all that were blessed to have met him, Paul was an angel on earth sent from the heavens above. Even in his final days, all he wanted to do was put a smile on the face of others, but he loved to laugh as well. The love that he had radiated out into the world and touched so very many people. A true beacon of light, hope and inspiration. He loved to participate and play in the Special Olympics. His other passions included going to church, watching the Red Sox, Nascar Racing, listening to Billy Ray Cyrus’s Achy Breaky Heart, camping, playing his guitar, beating everyone at mini golf, giving dad “hot sauce”, and just brightening everyone’s day with a hug and a smile, a kind gesture, or his infectious laughter. He taught all what unconditional love really was.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Yvonne Lovell; brothers, Michael Keegan, John Wayne Tetlow, Shawn Lovell, Ryan Lovell, and Josh Lovell; sister, Melissa Buckalew; nephews, Michael Keegan Jr., Tyler Hendrickson, and Dylan Buckalew; nieces, Bryanna Hendrickson and Makayla Buckalew; and grand-niece, Sage. Extended family include Michael Oshman, Billy Tetlow, Mary McDonald, Butch and Barbara Cote, and his church family. Very special friends include Richie Cayabyab, Pastor “Uncle Mark” Warren, his special dog, Popeye (whom he called his son), and many more.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Alvera and John Keegan, and great-grandparents, Iris and John Keegan Sr, and Florence and William Young.
