Paul H. Perkins, 88, of Manchester died August 18, 2003 at Elliot Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mr. Perkins was born on February 11, 1915 in Manchester the son of Harry and Allathea (Sleeper) Perkins. He was a U S Army veteran who served during World War II. He worked as a mechanic for Falton Transportation Company for many years until his retirement. Mr. Perkins was a member of the Teamsters Union. Family members include; his wife, Vendla (Gobin) Perkins; one son, Kenneth Cody of Salem, NH; one daughter, Carol Themelis of Manchester; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie Butterworth and Clover Dufresne both of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Donna Gregiore of Seattle, WA and by two brothers, George Perkins and Merton Perkins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 22 at 10 O'clock at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 575 Candia Road in Manchester with a graveside service to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
