Paul Robert Perkins, Jr. 42, of Franklin left this earth to be with the Good Lord on the July 7, 2007. He was born June 29, 1965 in Lowell, MA and raised in Manchester where he attended local schools. Paul attended Colorado University where he played for their hockey team while studying business. Before returning to New Hampshire, Paul resided in Arizona for ten year. Upon his return, he worked for Vitex Extrusion, Watts Valve Company and The Tri-State Arena as the zamboni operator. He was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed collecting their memorabilia. He also enjoyed the Franklin Opera House, raised tropical fish and loved spouting "useless information". He loved his church and friends of Praise Assembly Church in Tilton. He leaves a son, Andrew Smith of Glendale, Arizona; his mother, JoAnna S. Perkins (Gurski) of Salisbury; his father, Paul R. Perkins Sr. and step-mother, Priscilla Perkins of Merrimack; brother, Daniel Perkins of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, JoAnnaLee Lund and Paula Perkins both of Manchester; half-sisters, Lillian Bennett of Merrimack, Melanie, Holly, Randy and Andy Perkins all of Nashua; 13 nieces and nephews; and one grand-niece, Jadah Mae O'Dell. There will be a Memorial Service Saturday morning, July 14th at 11:00 at Praise Assembly of God Church on School Street in Tilton. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
