Paul Surago

Paul Andrew Surago, 66, passed away on January 22, 2024 at his home in Merrimack, NH. 

Born on October 12, 1957 in Chelsea, MA, he is the son of the late H. Peter Surago and Alice Surago. Raised and educated in Massachusetts, Paul was a graduate of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. In 1986, Paul married Debra Ann Surago, with whom he raised two wonderful sons. For over 30 years, Paul was employed at UPS until his retirement in 2019. 

A loving father, brother, uncle and friend to all, Paul’s family and friends were paramount in his life. He loved spending time at the beach house at Salisbury with his cherished family. His sons fondly remember long drives through the White Mountains in Paul’s Cadillac Deville. An avid sports fan, Paul loved to watch the Patriots win while surrounded by friends and family. Paul will be best remembered for his jovial spirit and love of family.

Paul is survived by his two sons, Daniel Surago and Andrew Surago; his mother, Alice Surago; four siblings, Marianne Surago, Peter Surago, Carolyn Surago-Bowers, and Daniel Surago; niece and two nephews, Julie Surago Pierce, Jimmy Surago, and Peter Bowers; and extended family and friends. 

ARRANGEMENTS: Paul's Memorial Gathering will be held in the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Saturday, February 3, from 1:00 to 2:00P.M. followed by his Memorial Service at 2:00P.M.
