Paul Wilson was born April 11, 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts to Charles and Lillian (Pierce) Wilson. Paul was raised In Boston, enjoying summers with his grandmother Etta Scott of Salisbury, New Hampshire.
Paul served four years in the US Navy, performing tugboat duty, performing vessel escort. After his Military service, Paul joined Local 537, Pipefitters Union of Boston, Massachusetts.
Paul worked there skillfully for 30 years and retired at 55, at 75 he celebrated his 50 year membership with Local 537. Shortly after retiring Paul and his second wife Nancy moved to Franklin, New Hampshire, where he helped Nancy take care of his Aunt Annie Blake.
In 2006, Paul and Nancy moved to a home on Sandogardy Pond in Northfield, New Hampshire, where they spent many years on the pond with their pontoon boat. Paul enjoyed the times with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a self-taught woodworker, over the years he made many pieces of furniture, and cabinets. Paul enjoyed gardening, and also camping.
For a portion of his retirement, he worked part time at Sanels Auto Parts in Franklin, NH. He assisted his wife Nancy, working for Northfield Tilton Food Pantry for the past 17 years, helping with charity work in the community.
Paul passed away May 29, 2021 at home in Northfield after a long illness. Hospice assistance was provided by the Franklin VNA visiting Nurses.
Paul is survived by his wife, Nancy Wilson, his brother Jerome Wilson of (Arizona) and sister Janice Broadrick of (Boston, Massachusetts), by his sons; Paul E. Wilson Jr. of (California), Gregory Wilson of (Massachusetts), Philip Wilson of (Virginia) and Alan Wilson of (Rhode Island), by his daughters; Lillian Harper (Missouri), Amy Furtado of (Florida), Wendy Vittum of (New Hampshire) and Joy Moody (New Hampshire) and his cousins Elwood Blake and Walter Scott still live in New Hampshire.
Paul was pre-deceased by both of his parents, his first wife Ventura Wilson, and his daughter Loran.
Services will be held, 2:00pm, June 9, 2021 at his request at, Northfield Tilton Congregational Church in Tilton, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Hospice/VNA of Franklin or Greater Tilton Aera Resource Center.
