Paula F. (Barnes) Longtin,84, of Methuen MA a former longtime resident of Lowell MA passed away peacefully July 06, 2017, at Nevins Nursing &
Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen MA after a courageous battle with a long illness surrounded by her loving family.Paula was born in Dedham MA on July 6 1933, the daughter of the late Frank T. Barnes and Laura (Guichard) Barnes.
Paula attended and graduated from Lowell High School in 1951. She worked for Palm Manor Nursing Home in Chelmsford, MA for many years
and Wang Laboratories in Lowell where she retired as a receptionist. She was a patron of St. Margaret's Church in Lowell MA.
Paula loved spending the winters at her sons home in Florida, she loved the beach, reading, watching old classic movies, crossword puzzles, crafts, and the New England Patriots. She was a devotedmother, sister, friend, grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Paula is survived by her sons Glenn Longtin MacNeil and Brian J. MacNeil of Nashua NH. Richard F. Longtin Jr and his wife Charlene of Hamilton
Ohio, Keith G. Longtin and his wife Melissa of Claremont Fl. As well as 5 grandchildren Brian, Marc, Cassandra, Abigail and Benjamin and former
husband Richard F. Longtin Sr of Zellwood Fl. and one great grandchild, several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
At Paula's request there will be no calling hours, and cremation by the Cremation Society of New Hampshire of Manchester, NH.
The family wishes to extend there gratitude to Nevins Nursing Rehabiliation Centre ( C Wing) for the compassion and care during her stay.
