Paulette F. Hanson

Paulette Fleurette Hanson, 75, was born on October 4,1949, in Boston, Massachusetts, and passed away on October 27, 2024, in Concord, New Hampshire. She was raised in Medford, Massachusetts, alongside her sister, Diane (Soly) Clarke, and her parents, Donat Soly and Claire (Francoeur) Soly. 

She was always happy to be with her family as she enjoyed hosting family parties to bring everyone together for laughter and memories. She was well-known for her baking skills, especially for her delicious pies that everyone always looked forward to. 

Her ability to create art was one of her greatest gifts, as she expressed her creativity through painting, crafting, and writing. She opened her own craft studio, The Woodchuck Gallery, which she was very proud of. She was also an accomplished freelance artist, having designed murals for the United Way and the Boys and Girls Club. As well as creating art, she was a published poet who used her writing to express her heart and soul.

She was a woman of faith who practiced prayer in her daily life. She enjoyed music, cherry cheesecake, As Good as It Gets, swimming, cribbage and playing any type of board or card game with her family and friends. Watching old home movies while sharing stories and memories of loved ones was a fond pastime.  

Before her, Paulette lost her mother, father, sister, and son, Brandon Hanson. She leaves behind two daughters, Michelle (Hanson) Clark, her husband, Brian Clark of Loudon, NH; Sarah (Hanson) Peperissa of Dover, NH; and her son, Richard Hanson of Concord, NH. In addition, she has 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a niece and nephews and a host of cherished cousins, friends and extended family. 

Paulette will be remembered for her laughter, good times, and fiery spirit that served to strengthen everyone she met. We will hold you in our hearts and souls, while missing you dearly, Mom.

The family of Paulette expresses heartfelt gratitude for the comforting messages, floral tributes and other expressions of kindness during this time of bereavement. May God bless you.
