Pauline T. Chase

Pauline T. Chase, 90, of Franklin, NH passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Friday, February 16, 2018.

Pauline was born in Concord, NH November 1, 1927 to Emile and Julia (Arseneault) Nadeau. She was educated in area schools, and though she was married at 18 and primarily a loving homemaker, she worked outside of the home for periods of time at her mother's nursing facility and a local shoe manufacturer. She adored children and that love led her to a job in a school cafeteria where she could enjoy their laughter, smiles, and boundless energy on a daily basis.
Pauline enjoyed crocheting and sewing and over the years crafted countless blankets, dolls, and garments. She also had a deep love of square dancing and line dancing and could still be found in the club cutting a rug straight into her 90th year. Pauline found a way to combine her two passions of crafting and dancing by using her sewing skills to make all of her own dance dresses.

Pauline is survived by her daughters, Pam Patrick of Tilton, NH and Debbie Arroco and husband, Eddie of Billerica, MA; grandchildren Terri Chase, Lisa MacDonald and husband Victor, Scott Chase, Melissa Fontaine and husband Roland, 1st Sgt. Nathan Logan, Austin Arroco, and Clayton Arroco; great grandchildren Joshua MacDonald, Kathryn Fontaine, Colton Fontaine, Ava Fontaine, Brittany Chase, and Aubriella Moore; great-great granddaughter Peyton; son-in-law Steve Chase; as well as one brother and two sisters. She was predeceased by her husband, Ira in 2000, her daughter Judy Chase in 2016, and five brothers and sisters.
