In Loving Memory of a Wonderful Wife, Mother and Friend.
Pauline M. Rabideau (Caplette) 75, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2023, with family by her side, at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH following a brief illness.
Pauline was born on October 7, 1947 to Raoul and Ida Caplette. Born in Gonic, NH she was raised and lived the majority of her life in Somersworth, NH.
At a young age, Pauline started working at the shoe shops in Somersworth, NH where she worked for many years. Later on she worked at Janco, Inc. in Rollinsford, NH for 30+ years and that would be where she retired from. Janco was like family to her. She had many wonderful coworkers and friends over the years that made her enjoy her time there.
Pauline will now spend eternity with her late husband Robert E. Rabideau, the love of her life who she has missed terribly since his passing in June of 2020.
Pauline and Bob spent many loving years together creating beautiful memories of a lifetime well spent.
If you ever met Pauline, you surely wouldn’t forget her. She had a wonderful sense of humor which meant for a lifetime of joking and laughter. She had a way with words, she swore like a truck driver, loved her Dunkin’ coffee (TACO), doing her diamond art, playing her computer games and was most notably known for her addiction to scratch tickets which her son in law, Keith, happily got her every day!
Pauline is predeceased by 2 brothers, Emile Caplette and Edward Caplette and 2 grandsons, Ryan Braley and Michael Issa.
Pauline is survived by her children Michelle Cammett of Madbury, NH, Lisa Braley and her husband Keith of Gonic, NH and her son Raymond Caplette, her sister Jeannette Boucher of Rochester, NH and brother David Caplette of Colebrook, NH. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
There will be no services, but a gathering of family will be held at a later date as a celebration of life at the cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with arrangements. To view an online memorial, leave a message of condolence, or for more information please go to https://csnh.com/
