Pauline G Wall died June 24, 2026 at home in Peabody, MA at 91. Born in CT, Paula earned a Masters in Science from Miami University in Ohio, worked at Salem State College in Salem, MA, and co-founded the North Shore Women's School. She later moved to Fremont, NH and then to Brooksby Village in Peabody, MA. 

Paula was always a singer, writer and activist for women's rights and education, social justice, and peace. She wrote a weekly newspaper column and championed liberal causes through her involvement in Unitarian Universalism, earning the Ethics in Action Award. Music played a large part in her life, which brought her joy and friendship: she sang with Soul Singers, Music from the Heart Women's Chorus and the NH Friendship Chorus (with husband Ed). 

Paula is survived by nephew Robert Garabedian of Manchester, CT, niece Aleah Doblinger (Joshua, husband) and their children, great nephews, William and Oliver Doblinger of Coventry, CT. She is also survived by her beloved great niece and nephew Leslie, and Ethan, and their mother Michelle Garabedian, of Windham, CT. Paula is also survived by her sister-in-law Joan Webber (husband James Webber), her niece Elizabeth Webber, nephews John Webber, Geoffrey Wall and Stephen Wall and fourteen great nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her husband Edward Wall, her brother Paul Garabedian (Louise, wife), niece Ellie Sue Garabedian and nephew George Webber. 

A service in her memory will be held at the Brooksby Village Chapel, Brooksby Village, Peabody, MA on July 26 at 1:30. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Exeter (exeteruu.org) or the North Shore Unitarian Universalist Church (nsuu.org).
