Pauline Polly Wilton

Pauline C. ''Polly'' Wilton, 88, of Windsor, NH died on June 6, 2000 at Hillsborough House Nursing Home. Mrs. Wilton was born on June 15, 1911 in Lowell, MA the daughter of the late Joseph and Leda Charrett. She was the Windsor Town Treasurer for 35 years and member of the Windsor School Board for several years. She was a member of the Purlingbeck Grange in East Washington, NH for 52 years and a member of the lower village whist club for many years. She was an avid bowler with the local senior league. Mrs. Wilton was a blood donor for the Red Cross since W W II. Family members include her husband of 68 years, Eric Wilton of Windsor; one son, Neil Wilton of Boise, Idaho; four daughters, Rita C. Johnson of Bradenton, FL, Edith L. Green of Brooklyn Center, Minn, Karen E. Charles of Cornish, NH and Linnea M. Steeves of Windsor, NH; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren. Mrs. Wilton was one of 17 children. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Sunday, June 11, 2000 at 2:00 PM at the Windsor Town Hall.
