Pearl M. Hastings

Pearl M. Hastings, 82, of 312 Medford Street in Manchester died on February 7, 2002 at her home. Mrs. Hastings was born on May 9, 1919 in The Pas, Manitoba, Canada. She grew up in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada and later went to live with relatives in Concord, Vermont. While there she met and married her husband of 61 years, Calvin B. Hastings. They have resided in Manchester for the past 36 years. Prior to moving to Manchester she lived in various towns and cities in Vermont including, Montpelier, Essex Junction, Rutland and St. Johnsbury. She attended the First Congregational Church of Manchester and sang in the choir in past years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family. Family members include; her husband, Calvin B. Hastings; three sons, Brant F. Hastings of Auburn, Allen R. Hastings of Lexington Park, Maryland and Calvin B. Hastings Jr., of Westbrook, Connecticut; and six grandchildren. There will be no services or calling hours.
