Peggy Ann Gourley

Peggy Ann Gourley, 67, of Penacook, NH passed away on February 24, 2025 after being under hospice care. She was born on February 20, 1958 in Rumford, ME, daughter of Raymond J. and Fay E. (Binette) MacDonald.

As a young child she lived in Maine and moved to California for a short period of time, followed by to Lynn, MA, and finally moved to New Hampshire. She was a graduate of Concord High School in New Hampshire. Following High School, she got married and in 1974 had her son Eric, and 3 ½ years later, in 1978, had her son Corey.

She worked for Havenwood Heritage Heights, Beede Electrical Instrument for many years, and also had her own house cleaning and dog watching business.

She loved going to family events, BBQ’s, and beaches. Above all, she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very dearly.

In her free time, her hobbies included doing puzzles, crossword puzzles, word searches, and crocheting.

She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Eric Parenteau Jr and wife Phetoudorn Lannan, and Corey Parenteau and wife Kim Parenteau; seven grandchildren, Brandon Parenteau, Christian Parenteau, Kailyn Poole, Ethan Parenteau, Alex Lannan, Tien Dang Ng, and Sidney Ng; and great-grandson, Gideon Parenteau.

SERVICES: A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Cremation Society of NH, 172 King Street in Boscawen, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 9-10am, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 10am. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
