Perry H. Vallee

Perry H. Vallee, 83, a lifelong resident of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully on February 13th.

He served in the Army National Guard, the US Navy, and the US Navy Reserve. During his 50 year career as a compositor, 42 of them were spent at the Union Leader Corp. Perry was appointed by Col. Harold Knowlton as an Auxiliary State Trooper, and served 20 years. He also served as a Deputy Sheriff in Hillsborough County for 2 years. He enjoyed officiating high school football, and also coached and managed Little League baseball.

Perry and his wife of 55 years Cheryl were blessed to have traveled to many Caribbean Islands, Hawaii, Greece and many Florida beaches. Long Sands Beach and Ogunquit Beach were among their favorite local destinations.

Survivors include his son Michael P. Vallee of Auburn, NH; sisters Lydia Dionne and husband Donald of Manchester, NH; Jennie Gardner of Bedford, NH; Madeline Deshaises and husband Fernand of Manchester, NH; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Predeceased by his parents Henri & Dorothy (Anagnos) Vallee, his brother Roger, and the love of his life, Cheryl A (Rogers) Vallee.

Let your tears be of joy knowing that he is finally back with his beloved Cheryl.

SERVICES: There will be no visiting hours. Services will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH on February 23 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Perry's memory to the Wounded Warriors Project or Salvation Army of Manchester.
