Peter F. Vaast, Jr.

Peter Frederick Vaast, Jr. 85, of Bedford, NH passed away at the Elliot Hospital on August 7, 2022.  Born in Norwalk, CT, on March 3, 1937, he was the son of the late Constance (Nancy) and Peter Vaast.

Peter was raised in Norwalk CT., where he was a chemical engineer for RT Vanderbuilt and King Industries.  Pete was a man of music loved by all.  He was kind, compassionate, a wonderful piano player with a twinkle in his eye and lots of love in his heart.  He was a proud Veteran of the US Army.

Peter is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janet Vaast of Bedford, NH; his daughter, Nancy LaPorte and her husband Barry of Laconia, NH; his grandchildren, Jason LaPorte, Alyse Mundt and her husband Alex, great grandson, Henry and sister, Ruthy Vaast, of Bonita Springs, FL.
