Philip A. Longo

Philip A. Longo, 55, of 467 Main St., Hampstead, NH, died on June 11, 2003 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, after a battle with ALS. He was born in Melrose, MA on March 5, 1948, son of Hector & Jessie Longo. He was a lover of nature, avid golfer and a compassionate person. While residing in New Hampshire, he received a degree from UNH. Family members include his wife of 21 years, Arleen (Murphy) Longo; 3 daughters, Jennifer (Longo) Irvine of Townsend, MA, Koreen Wood of Hampstead, NH, Melissa Wood of Newmarket, NH; 2 grandsons of Townsend, MA, and a Brother, Richard Longo of Rochester, NH. Services: There is no calling hours - A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association, Northern New England Chapter, 80 Colchester Ave., Burlington, VT 05401.
