Philip R. Lovejoy

Philip was born in Dover_Foxcroft, Me, to the late Horace and Hazel (Davis) Lovejoy. He is survived by the "Apple of his Eye", wife and companion of nearly 34 years, Paula M. Benson Lovejoy. He is also survived by Two sons and their wives, Philip R. and Kate Lovejoy, Bryon J and Becky Lovejoy, and one daughter and her husband, Tammy and Randy Smith. Seven grandchildren. Ami, Scott, Christopher, Derek, Camryn, Alanna, and Logan. Two great-grandchildren, Alice and Benjammin. A Brother-in-Law, Kim T. Benson, two Sister-in-laws, Marcia Benson and Annie Lovejoy, and several nieces and nephews, and last but not least his beloved companion and faithful friend. Sparky. Philip was predeceased by a Son Scott, three brothers, Lester, Paul, and Earl Lovejoy, and one sister, Barbara L. Merrill.

Philip attended Fox-Croft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft, Me. before moving to New Hampshire over 50 years ago. He was employed at the time of his death by Wediko Childrens Services in Windsor, NH, He worked in the maintenance department

Philip was a very loving man who managed to touch many people and never forgot anyone, no matter how breif the encounter. He loved his family with all his heart and we loved him. He will be deeply missed and fortunately for us he was a great story teller and we have all of those memories. Godspeed Philip, we will cherish the time that we had with you. Love Always, your family.
