Phillip Rogers Ellis Jr., 67, of Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 5, 2026.

Born on August 24, 1958, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Phillip was the son of the late Bernice and Phillip Ellis. He built a life defined by hard work, intelligence, humor, and unwavering love for his family.

For more than two decades, Phillip proudly owned and operated Premow Lawncare, earning a reputation for excellence, dedication, and craftsmanship in his work. Through his business, he built lasting relationships and left a positive mark on countless customers and friends throughout the community.

Phillip was known for his sharp mind, quick wit, and curiosity about the world. He had a lifelong love of history and enjoyed many hobbies, including photography and playing the harmonica. A devoted Boston sports fan, he could often be found cheering on his favorite teams and following every season with enthusiasm.

Above all else, Phillip’s greatest joy came from his family. Nothing made him prouder than watching his children and granddaughter succeed and grow. Whether celebrating accomplishments in sports, academics, careers, or life’s everyday milestones, he was their biggest supporter and took immense pride in their achievements.

Phillip is survived by his daughter, Nicole Dubois, and granddaughter, Charlotte Dubois; his sons, Michael Ellis and Dylan Ellis; his stepdaughter, Julie Fischer; his stepson, Bryan Fischer; his sister, Linda Blowers; his brother, Russell Ellis; his nephew, Joshua Peck; his longtime companion, Janice Fowler, whom he cared for deeply; and many other cherished friends and loved ones whose lives were enriched by his presence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Phillip Ellis, and his sister, Laura Ellis.

Phillip will be remembered for his humor, his intelligence, his strong work ethic, and the deep love he had for those closest to him. His memory will live on in the stories shared by family and friends, the lessons he taught, and the pride he took in those he loved most.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
